Organic shapes in the bathroom
Whether round mirrors, gently curved vanity units or rounded bathtubs – organic shapes create a deliberate contrast to straight lines and clean edges. But their effect goes far beyond mere aesthetics. Rounded shapes are often associated with a sense of comfort, calm and positive emotions. In architecture, curved contours are also widely perceived as more inviting and pleasant than sharp, angular forms. Especially in interiors, rounded elements can guide the eye more gently through the space and contribute to a harmonious overall impression.
Organic shapes are therefore a versatile design element in the bathroom, whether as a single eye-catcher or as a recurring detail. The contrast with clean lines creates an appealing balance.
Below, we present selected examples from our range to show how rounded designs can be used to gently soften clean-lined bathroom concepts.
Round Mirrors & Mirror Cabinets
Mirrors and mirror cabinets are among the easiest ways to introduce organic shapes into the bathroom. They soften the often clean-lined design of the vanity area and can serve as a deliberate eye-catcher. Indirect lighting can further enhance this effect.
For those looking to create additional storage space, the MIRR 5 LUNA and MIRR 5 SOLIS series offer suitable mirror cabinets in round and oval designs. For flush-mounted installation, we also manufacture the MIRR 7 NELA mirror cabinet with a round or oval mirror front, made to your exact dimensions.
Gentle curves in the vanity area
Organic shapes can be incorporated into the vanity area in a variety of ways. For example, curved basin shapes can create a soft contrast to clean-lined furniture, resulting in a harmonious overall design.
Our range includes numerous round and oval basins & columns in various sizes and designs, offering a wide range of options for individual vanity solutions. In addition, our custom-made washbasin countertops can be manufactured with individual curves.
Soft forms can also be implemented in the furniture itself: Our M5 PI design line features gently rounded edges, combining clear lines with a soft design language.
Bathtubs with soft shapes
Bathtubs with gentle curves are not only visually appealing. The flowing contours also provide a high level of comfort and create a relaxing bathing experience. As a central design element, they are therefore particularly well suited to showcase organic shapes in the bathroom. Especially in combination with clean-lined elements, rounded designs really come into their own.
Almost all of our freestanding bathtubs feature an oval design. Different sizes and designs offer a wide range of possibilities for implementing this design approach in the bathroom.
In addition, we also manufacture bespoke bathtubs. Both oval and completely round inner parts are possible. The bathtub housing is individually designed according to customer requirements and can also be executed with rounded contours.
From individual details to the overall design
Organic shapes can be incorporated into almost every area of the bathroom. Even single elements can noticeably change the appearance of a room, while a thoughtful combination of soft shapes and materials creates a harmonious overall impression.
Thanks to our bespoke manufacturing, the products shown can be flexibly adapted to different requirements and room layouts. This opens up a wide range of possibilities and offers great design freedom in bathroom planning.
